Get excited to visit the Telvanni Peninsula this June by checking out these five incredible Morrowind marvels right now!

The Dark Elf home of Morrowind is full of all manner of weird and wonderful places, peoples, and things, and soon, with The Elder Scrolls Online: Necrom, you’ll be able to discover an all-new part of Tamriel as you explore the Telvanni Peninsula. Before the next Chapter’s launch in June, here’s some must-see marvels you can experience in Morrowind right now.

Sadrith Mora’s Mushroom Towers

The seat of power for House Telvanni, the gigantic mushroom towers of Sadrith Mora are hard to miss. Located along Vvardenfell’s eastern coast, Sadrith Mora is home to all the basic amenities an adventurer needs, including no shortage of powerful, devious mages.

Walk the streets of Sadrith Mora

If you want to experience Morrowind at its most weird and wonderful, magically imbued mushroom towers should be at the top of your list.

Various Vvardvarks (and other Beasties)

Speaking of Telvanni creations, vvardvarks are Vvardenfell’s most adorable failed experiments and can be found in almost every corner of the island. Native to this island and time period only, these spiny-tongued, scaled animals make for truly excellent pets—if only they came in larger varieties!

Thank you, House Telvanni!

Of course, if vvardvarks aren’t to your taste, Morrowind is home to all manner of native creatures. From the looming silt striders, to the fearsome alits, to the screeching cliff racers, there’s no shortage of strange beasts for you to discover in the home of the Dark Elves.

The Tribunal

In Morrowind, it’s possible to meet your gods. You can find the Tribunal, made up of Almalexia, Vivec, and Sotha Sil, in Vvardenfell, Deshaan, and other more secret, esoteric realms.

Encounter the Dark Elves’ own gods

Who better to discuss the mysteries of the universe with than the living gods of the Dark Elves? Just don’t let any nearby Ordinators hear you question their divinity!

Baar Dau

While the cantons of Vivec City are splendid, the meteor that hovers above it is awe-inspiring. Rumored to be held aloft by Vivec himself, Baar Dau is a constant reminder of the power of the Tribunal and an ever-present threat to the city and, indeed, all of Morrowind.

We recommend viewing this celestial rock from a safe distance.

Ancestral Tombs

One of the unique aspects of Dark Elf culture is their participation in ancestor worship, and when exploring Vvardenfell, it’s hard to not wander across a family tomb or two. While all ancestral tombs serve as a resting place for a family’s dead, for the Dark Elves, it is a place where they can commune with their ancestors and ask for aid or protection.

This practice, while distasteful to many of Tamriel’s other races, is central to their way of life, which is why we’ve named them our final Morrowind marvel. Be sure to show the proper respect when visiting these solemn sites—you may earn an achievement should you find them all!
